The American Stage Band Music Service is delighted to represent Smart Chart Music, a company which is owned by jazz arranger, Mike Carubia. The goal of Smart Chart Music is to provide the educational and professional markets with Jazz Ensemble music that embodies the true essence of the jazz idiom; swing, blues, melodic clarity, logical chord changes and improvisation. The styles of Thad Jones, Count Basie & Duke Ellington will be the  focal point for the jazz idiom. The contemporary styles will include funk and latin styles of some of the leading composers of these two genre.  Solos will be completely written out in all of the publications and should be used for study and to enhance the performance of a particular composition. The composers / arrangers are all highly skilled professionals who also have extensive experience working with high school and college level students as well as professional credits including; film, recording and name bands.
